Good Change Retreats – Mallorca

1. Provider

The organizer of the retreats is:

2. Scope of Application

These General Terms and Conditions apply to all Good Change retreats and events, particularly multi-day retreats in Mallorca.

By booking, participants accept these terms.

Additionally, the terms of business and data protection of the respective booking and payment service providers, especially Ticket Tailor, apply.

3. Booking and Payment

Booking is made via Ticket Tailor and becomes binding upon full payment.

By completing the booking, participants expressly confirm that there is no statutory right of withdrawal for the booked retreat.

All prices are in Euros.

Included in the retreat price are:
+ Accommodation in a double room
+ Vegetarian full board
+ Participation in the retreat program

Not included are:
+ Arrival and departure
+ Airport transfers
+ Personal expenses
+ Travel and health insurance

Room allocation is done by the organizer. There is no entitlement to a single room unless explicitly agreed upon.

Participants are responsible for:
+ Valid travel documents
+ Sufficient health insurance coverage
+ Medical fitness
+ Personal travel arrangements
+ Arrival and departure

Taking out travel and cancellation insurance is strongly recommended.

4. Cancellation by Participants

Cancellations must be made in writing.

The following cancellation conditions apply:
+ up to 60 days before the start of the retreat: full refund minus an €80 processing fee
+ 30–59 days before the start of the retreat: 50% refund
+ less than 30 days before the start of the retreat: no refund

A substitute person can be named after prior arrangement. Services not utilized will not be refunded.

5. Cancellation or Changes by the Organizer

Good Change reserves the right to cancel or adjust the retreat for important reasons.

This applies particularly in cases of:
‍+ Illness of the organizer or team
+ Force majeure
+ Natural events
+ Travel restrictions
+ Official measures
+ Unforeseeable circumstances
+ Failure to reach the minimum number of 5 participants

Cancellation due to an insufficient number of participants will occur no later than 21 days before the start of the retreat.

Participation fees already paid will be fully refunded in this case. Further claims, particularly for travel, flight, or accommodation costs, do not exist.

Program changes are reserved, provided the character and quality of the retreat are maintained.

6. Participation and Personal Responsibility

Good Change retreats include elements from:

+ Group processes

Participation is voluntary and at one's own risk.

The offerings do not replace medical, psychotherapeutic, or psychiatric treatment and do not constitute a promise of healing.

Participants commit to taking personal responsibility for their physical and mental health and to assess any existing health limitations themselves.

Participants decide independently which exercises or processes they wish to participate in. Exercises can be paused or skipped at any time.

In a medical emergency, the organizers are authorized to arrange necessary medical assistance.

7. Liability

The organizer is liable without limitation for intent, gross negligence, and for damages resulting from injury to life, body, or health.

In the event of slight negligence violating essential contractual obligations, liability is limited to the foreseeable damages typical for the contract.

Otherwise, liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

No liability is assumed for the loss of personal belongings.

8. Photo and Video Recordings

Photos or videos may be taken during the retreat.

Their use for documentation or promotional purposes will only occur with the voluntary express consent of the individuals concerned.

Consent is voluntary and does not affect participation in the retreat.

Consent can be revoked at any time with future effect.

9. Data Protection / GDPR

Personal data is processed exclusively for the purpose of organizing and conducting the retreat.

This includes, in particular:
+ Booking processing
+ Communication
+ Participant organization

Processing is carried out in accordance with applicable data protection regulations, particularly the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Data is only passed on to necessary service providers, especially Ticket Tailor.

Personal data is stored only for as long as necessary for the execution of the retreat or due to statutory retention obligations.

Participants have the right at any time to:
+ Information
+ Rectification
+ Erasure
+ Restriction of processing
+ Data portability
+ Withdrawal of granted consents

10. Right of Withdrawal

According to § 312g para. 2 no. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for leisure events with a fixed date.

11. Language and Choice of Law

These terms are provided in German and English. In case of discrepancies, the German version shall prevail.

German law applies.

The place of jurisdiction is – to the extent permitted by law – the provider's registered office.
